How do I choose the right size for recessed LED pot lights?

Check the manufacturer's cut-out dimensions, mounting depth and fixture mounting method—not only the nominal 2-inch, 3-inch, 4-inch or 5-inch label. A slim disk, recessed gimbal, trimless fixture and flush-mount unit can have different installation requirements.

Are 5-CCT LED downlights and PIR motion sensor lights the same thing?

No. 5-CCT means a fixture has selectable colour-temperature settings. A PIR sensor detects movement for automatic switching. Selix Kala lists a 6-inch 15W 5-CCT PIR disk downlight and a 7-inch 12W 3-CCT PIR flush mount; their dimming and location ratings differ.

Can commercial recessed pot lights qualify for Ontario Save on Energy rebates?
